What is your primary product or service?
Anguil Environmental Systems is a global provider of industrial air pollution control, vapor combustion and wastewater treatment systems. We design, manufacturer, service and install thermal and catalytic oxidizers for the destruction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), process odors and Nitrous Oxides (NOX). Since 1978, our environmental technologies have been used in a variety of air and water pollution control applications and industries. In addition, Anguil also specializes in energy recovery systems that reduce a company’s operating costs, lower their carbon footprint and decrease energy consumption by utilizing waste heat from manufacturing processes. With an emphasis on engineering and problem solving, our goal is to provide solutions today that help customers remain profitable tomorrow.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Together with his oldest son Jeff, Gene Anguil developed a line of air pollution control products that helped manufacturers meet a new set of emission standards mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Utilizing his father’s engineering expertise, Jeff successfully promoted the companies offerings and established a sales network throughout the United States. Growth, guided by the father-and-son combination of technical expertise and marketing vision, was rapid. By the early 1990’s, business was flourishing and they had reached 10 million in sales.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Decisions on a Thermal or Catalytic oxidizer purchase should be based on destruction requirements, efficiency needs and process parameters. Our complete breadth of air pollution control technologies ensures an unbiased equipment selection and design for each specific application. Anguil designs and manufactures Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers as well as Direct-Fired, Catalytic and Recuperative systems for the destruction of Volatile Organic Compounds and Hazardous Air Pollutants. We also service each oxidizer technology, regardless of original equipment manufacturer.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The company is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA with offices in the United Kingdom, Asia and an extensive network of agents located domestically and throughout the world.
